Affiliate disclosure

Some links on HostelConnect are affiliate links. If you click one and make a qualifying booking, we may earn a commission from the partner. Our current booking partner is Hostelworld, through its affiliate programme on Partnerize (and, where enabled, the Travelpayouts network). On some pages we also link to Booking.com (private rooms) and 12Go (buses, trains and ferries between stops) through the CJ affiliate network.

• Partner buttons are named: “Check availability at Hostelworld”. They open the partner in a new tab and are marked as sponsored links.
• A click is not a booking. You choose whether to book, on the partner’s site and terms.
• Commission doesn’t decide what we write about destinations, neighbourhoods or hostel styles. Paid placements, if we ever add them, will be labelled “Sponsored”.
